Medical Services
About Our Outpatient Clinic
The Koman Family Outpatient Pavilion is an outpatient clinical facility on UC San Diego Health's La Jolla campus. It is located between Moores Cancer Center and Jacobs Medical Center. It includes eight surgery suites, basic and advanced imaging, physical therapy, and pain management – services that are designed for patients who will be treated in a single day.
Our doctors offer a range of procedures, such as minimally invasive orthopedic surgery for hand, sports, and foot injuries, as well as advanced procedures for urinary stones, bladder cancer, breast reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery. They also offer medical devices to treat obesity and gastroesophageal reflux disease. In addition, there are expansive indoor and outdoor spaces for patients who need physical therapy. The pavilion is named in honor of Bill and Amy Koman and family in recognition of their generosity and dedication to advancing health care in San Diego.
The facility is organized into two wings with ventilated public spaces and is LEED Gold certified.
Construction Alert
Ongoing construction for new projects on the La Jolla medical campus can affect your travel time, especially if you're parking at the Athena parking garage. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to arrive early for your appointment:
- Starting Sept. 5: Please follow detour signs on Genesee and Regents Road to Health Sciences Drive to avoid possible traffic delays at the Campus Point Drive/Medical Center Drive intersections.
- Valet parking is open: Please prepare for possible delays while traveling on Campus Point Drive for valet pickup and drop-off.
- Self-parking locations: You can park in lot P760 or the Athena parking structure.

Parking
Options include self-parking, valet parking and extended parking in parking structures or lots. We encourage valet parking at our four drop-off points. It is a convenient and inexpensive way to make it to your appointment on time. The cost is the same as self-parking.
